Helen from Melbourne, AustraliaGreat shot. I love the way the feathers are spread out in the wind and am very impressed with the detail you have in this crop. Overall I think I like the composition of yesterday's photo a little better. 18 Jun 2007 3:51pm amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaAnd for me I like it better cropped. Wonderful capture!!! ;-) 18 Jun 2007 3:53pm Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesThis is an amazing pelican shot! I live where there are many pelicans and am always taking shots of them, but never one so dramatic and alive; the wave action backdrop only makes this picture even stronger. ConvexClix from Mumbai, IndiaStunner of a shot ... quick and superbly caught in the cam :D 22 Jun 2007 6:42am Walt from Scarborough, CanadaI think I like the crop better - what kind of camera are you using to get such detail even in such a large crop? 29 Jun 2007 12:19am @Walt: Nikon D80 - 18-70 mm ! I know, I was surprised how good it came out ! Sash from Adelaide, AustraliaThis is stunning, Nadine. The clarity of the pelican against the colour of the ocean is outstanding. Congratulations and well done. :) 29 Jun 2007 1:16am Ian Bramham from Manchester, United KingdomFantastic crop which really improves the composition compared to the previous day's shot! 24 Jul 2007 9:30am Andrew Gould from Sydney, AustraliaAbsolutely excellent detail caught here. Love the close cropping and the overall composition. 4 Aug 2007 8:25am Lorraine from CanadaIt it a wonderfully photo, but what really gets to me is the sea, the colour, the waves, the texture, the sparkles...totally takes my breath away. I wish I were right in it! 12 Aug 2007 9:47am |
