Great shot. I love the way the feathers are spread out in the wind and am very impressed with the detail you have in this crop. Overall I think I like the composition of yesterday's photo a little better.

This is an amazing pelican shot! I live where there are many pelicans and am always taking shots of them, but never one so dramatic and alive; the wave action backdrop only makes this picture even stronger.

Ce n'est pas commun de rencontrer un tel oiseau. Où as-tu pris cette photo?

C'est ce cadrage que je préfère. Magnifique attitude et détail du plumage. Le cadrage d'hier apporte trop de choses supplémentaires ce qui met au second plan ce magnifique oiseau.

@Walt: Nikon D80 - 18-70 mm ! I know, I was surprised how good it came out !

It it a wonderfully photo, but what really gets to me is the sea, the colour, the waves, the texture, the sparkles...totally takes my breath away. I wish I were right in it!
